We are on the lookout for a dynamic Non-Foods Manager to lead our non-food product categories and drive strategic growth. In this role, you'll oversee the end-to-end management of non-food merchandise, ensuring optimal supply chain operations, vendor relationships, and category performance. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category strategies for non-food products, aligning with overall business goals and market trends.
- Manage supplier relationships through effective sourcing, contract negotiation, and ongoing vendor management to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
- Oversee procurement processes using ERP systems and data analysis tools like SQL and Nielsen insights to optimize inventory levels and demand planning.
- Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities, including inventory control, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely product availability.
- Analyze sales data, pricing strategies, and market trends to identify opportunities for product development and process improvements.
- Lead project management initiatives related to product launches, category expansion, or process enhancements within the supply chain framework.
- Monitor profit & loss statements, conduct financial analysis, and implement pricing strategies to maximize category profitability.
Skills
- Strong background in supply chain management with experience in logistics, procurement, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis (including SQL), data mining, visualization tools, and supply chain analytics to inform decision-making.
- Excellent vendor management skills with a proven track record in sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship building.
- Knowledge of Nielsen insights or similar market research tools for sales analysis and merchandising strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective strategic planning and process improvement skills.
- Financial acumen with experience in profit & loss management, pricing strategies, and demand planning.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and business requirements related to product management within a fast-paced retail environment.
