Part-Time Paper Cutter – Commercial Printing
We are seeking a dependable, experienced Part-Time Paper Cutter to join our commercial printing team.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will operate commercial paper cutting equipment to accurately trim printed materials according to job specifications while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Polar commercial paper cutter model 115 safely and efficiently.
- Read and follow job tickets and production specifications.
- Measure, trim, and prepare printed materials for finishing.
- Change cutting blades and perform routine machine setup and adjustments.
- Perform preventative maintenance and keep equipment clean and in proper working condition.
- Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating commercial paper cutters is required.
- Experience changing blades and performing routine maintenance on commercial paper cutters.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Compensation:
- $20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
