Duties

• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and prevent security breaches
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities
• Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including administering first aid or CPR when necessary
• Manage access control by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Enforce loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and unauthorized access
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies
• Handle conflict situations professionally, de-escalating disputes and ensuring safety for all parties involved

Skills

• Excellent conflict management and communication skills
• Background in law enforcement, military, or security services is highly advantageous
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security protocols
• Experience with security-related procedures such as access control and incident reporting
• Ability to remain alert, vigilant, and responsive during long shifts
