Overview
Thank you for your interest in joining Brother's Screen Printing. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual to reclaim and clean screens used in the screen-printing process. This is a part-time position offering flexible scheduling and approximately two workdays per week at a starting wage of $9.00 per hour.
Duties
- Reclaim used screen-printing screens by removing ink, emulsion, tape, and residue.
- Operate a pressure washer safely and effectively to clean screens without damaging mesh or frames.
- Apply screen-reclaiming chemicals according to manufacturer instructions and company procedures.
- Inspect screens for damage, stains, ghost images, or imperfections before returning them to inventory.
- Rinse, dry, and organize reclaimed screens for future production use.
- Maintain a clean and safe reclaiming area.

Knowledge and Skills Preferred
- Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals, degreasers, emulsion removers, and haze removers.
- Familiarity with personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, eye protection and aprons.
- Ability to operate pressure-washing equipment safely around chemicals and wet surfaces.
- Attention to detail when inspecting mesh for pinholes, tears, stretched areas, or remaining emulsion.
- Ability to follow written safety procedures.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move screens.
- Comfortable working in a wet environment.
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks while maintaining quality standards.
Safety Responsibilities
- Follow all chemical handling and storage procedures.
- Wear required PPE at all times in the reclaim area.
- Ensure proper ventilation when using reclaiming chemicals.
- Prevent cross-contamination between chemicals.
- Report damaged equipment or chemical spills.
