Job Description:
The Pressure Washing Crew Laborer cleans residential or commercial surfaces such as driveways, siding, and sidewalks using high-pressure water equipnment. Key duties include operating machinery, applying detergents, maneuvering hoses, and performing site cleanup, requiring strong physical stamina to handle heavy equipment and work in varied weather.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate pressure washing machinery to remove dirt, grease, graffiti, and mildew from various surfaces
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot pressure washers, hoses, and nozzles
- Follow strict safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), to prevent injuries and property damage
- Prepare work areas, move furniture, and clean up equipment after job completion
- Apply cleaning detergents and eco-friendly chemicals responsibly to surfaces
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and stand, kneel, or bend for long periods
- Experience with or ability to learn high-pressure cleaning tools
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions
- Valid driver’s license often required for traveling to job sites
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, and dusty environments
- Be willing to work weekends when necessary
- Be able to work overtime when required
- Communication skills: ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures
