Position Summary
The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and day-to-day operations of the Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. This role ensures the highest standards of clinical quality, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, and resident satisfaction, while maintaining financial stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership for the facility
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state (NYSDOH), and local regulations
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and survey readiness
- Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and person-centered care
- Lead, mentor, and support department heads and interdisciplinary teams
- Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and community stakeholders
- Collaborate with campus leadership to align services and support system-wide goals
Qualifications
- Current New York State Nursing Home Administrator license (required)
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Strong knowledge of NYS and federal regulations
- Demonstrated success in quality outcomes, team leadership, and operational management
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to mission-driven, resident-centered care

Salary : $140,000 - $180,000
