Position: Seasonal Groundskeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Seasonal Groundskeeper to help maintain the beauty, safety, and health of our outdoor spaces. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in landscape upkeep, and want to contribute to a welcoming environment. The position involves manual labor, including mowing, trimming, and planting.

Key Responsibilities

• Landscape Maintenance: Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep lawns and garden beds pristine.
• Gardening Tasks: Plant, fertilize, mulch, and weed garden beds and trees to promote healthy growth.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain power tools and landscaping equipment, including lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and small tractors.
• Cleanliness & Safety: Keep assigned areas free of debris, empty trash receptacles, and ensure pathways are safe and clean.
• Seasonal Tasks: Assist with seasonal tasks, such as leaf removal in the fall or snow clearing in early spring.
• Irrigation Maintenance: Assist with watering, repairing, or replacing irrigation systems.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or gardening is preferred but not required; we will train motivated candidates.
• Physical Strength: Ability to perform physically demanding labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Work Ethic: Strong work ethic with a focus on attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward tasks.
• Safety Conscious: Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, safety precautions for operating power tools and equipment.
• Weather Tolerance: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, or cold.
• License: Valid Driver’s License may be required.

Salary : $17 - $20
