Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our customers receive top-notch workmanship from our installation crews. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering materials to job sites, managing stock in the warehouse, coordinating job schedules, and handling various operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 10-50 lbs; occasionally lift and/or move objects over 100 lbs.
- Deliver all necessary materials to job sites, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Perform a range of warehouse functions, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and organizing stock.
- Conduct job inspections with the supervisor; visit properties to inspect installation work as needed.
- Coordinate job scheduling between contractors and customers, ensuring all labor needs are covered for each job.
- Oversee the scheduling of all customer emergency requests to ensure all jobs are properly staffed.
- Review and address customer concerns, finding effective resolutions.
- Observe safety and security procedures, take appropriate action beyond guidelines, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly.
- Assist in shipping and receiving tasks; unload trucks, sometimes using a forklift, and check in merchandise.
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
- Maintain inventory control by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer, and conducting physical inventory counts.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an operations associate or in a similar role.
- Forklift Certification.
- Ability to multi-task in a constantly changing environment.
- Self-starter capable of working individually or within a team.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills.
- Dependable and reliable.
- Valid drivers license.
- Basic knowledge of painting, flooring, and sanding is a plus.
