Responsibilities
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision and integrity
- Maintain knowledge of store products for effective upselling and product demos
- Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and organizing displays
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and welcoming
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
- Promote store promotions and special offers to enhance sales opportunities
- Support supervising staff during busy periods or when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales preferred; familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist a diverse customer base
- Ability to perform retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and totals
