Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimator. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, conducting site visits, preparing cost estimates, and collaborating with the project management team. The Estimator will also be involved in reviewing RFP's, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring accurate and timely bidding processes. The Estimator will report to our Director of Preconstruction and Business Development.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Suite.
- On Screen Take-off is a plus but not necessary - Must have a willingness to learn this program.
- Experience in reading and interpreting plans
- Knowledge of concrete construction materials, methods, and equipment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Prior experience in construction estimating is preferred but not critical
