We are seeking a motivated and skilled Handyman specializing in construction renovation to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of repair, remodeling, and finishing projects across residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help transform spaces, improve functionality, and ensure high-quality craftsmanship. Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and maintenance including drywall installation, painting, caulking, and plastering to restore and improve properties.
- Execute remodeling projects such as cabinet installation, fixture setup, door hanging, flooring installation, and trim carpentry with precision.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks related to framing, masonry, roofing, concrete finishing, and heavy equipment operation.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately interpret project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality benchmarks throughout all phases of renovation work.
- Install various building components including glass panels, stucco finishes, masonry elements, tile laying, and fabrication of custom fixtures.
- Collaborate with project managers to estimate costs, plan workflows, and coordinate multiple trades for seamless project execution.
Qualifications
Must know how to lead, without being told what to do . And know how to approach many or all situations. And safety first. !!!!!
Proven experience in construction renovation or related fields with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management principles.
- Skills in drywall installation, flooring installation, carpentry (including frame carpentry), roofing, masonry, welding, and tile laying.
- Electrical experience including electrical work and fixture installation; plumbing skills are also highly valued.
- Ability to perform detailed work such as plastering, caulking, stucco application, concrete forming & finishing.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites along with the ability to inspect work for quality assurance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues during renovation projects.
