Residential Carpet Technician
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
The Commercial Carpet Technician will perform Carpet, Upholstery cleaning, and cleaning area rugs at on site rug plant, as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- None
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Hot Water Extraction cleaning of carpets and upholstery in commercial buildings.
- Encapsulant Carpet cleaning of commercial carpets.
- Manage job schedule and tasks using Housecall Pro Tablet/Phone application.
- Operate, maintain and clean assigned Carpet Van.
- Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
- Previous commercial carpet cleaning
- Effective communication skills – oral and written and able to expertly use tablet applications.
- Demonstrates and utilizes good judgment.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Must be physically capable of working on their feet for 8 hours, strenuous work environment.
- IICRC Certified, willing to support continued membership and training.
EXPECTATIONS
- Reports to work each day and on time.
- Completes tasks in an efficient manner
- Must comply with proper safety policies and procedures as required (i.e., when using cleaning chemicals, reporting incidents, etc.).
- Provides excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Have a clean and professional appearance.
