We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Electrical Estimator to join our team and play a key role in securing profitable single- and multi-family residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review plans, specs, and site conditions to produce takeoffs and cost estimates
- Prepare detailed labor, material, and equipment cost breakdowns
- Create competitive, accurate bids and proposals
- Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to confirm pricing and lead times
- Maintain estimate files, scope clarifications, and historical cost data
- Support value engineering and change order pricing
Required Qualifications
- 3 years estimating experience in residential electrical construction (or strong electrical field background with estimating exposure)
- Proficiency with takeoff/estimating tools (e.g., Winest, Excel) — willing to train on company software
- Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, labor productivity, and basic code requirements
- Excellent attention to detail, math skills, and written communication
- Ability to manage multiple bids and meet deadlines
