What are the responsibilities and job description for the Classic Car - Journeyman Metal Fabricator in Restoration Shop (Estacada, OR) position at Brosseau's Coachworks?
Brosseau’s is currently seeking a Journeyman Metal Fabricator. They seek a professional with numerous years of verifiable experience in a reputable shop. The journeyman will come “turn-key” being able to hit the ground running with little to no instruction. We have a shop full of laid-back employees that show up to work with their own tools, ready to work and leave their egos at home.
What You’ll Do
- Small and large panel replacement
- Fabricate and install patch panels
- Rust repair
- Aligning and gapping panels
- General assembly and disassembly
- Bonus: suspension fabrication/installation
- Bonus: engine & transmission mock-up or install
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years verifiable experience in reputable shops
- Hot rod & classic car experience REQUIRED
- Self-starter with the ability to manage time and workflow
- Own tools (power tools and basic mechanics set)
- Punctual, reliable, and consistent attendance
- Pride in craftsmanship and maintaining a clean workspace
Schedule & Pay
- 4 x 10-hour shifts | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- $25–$45/hr DOE
- Vacation & sick time accrual paid holidays
