This is an excellent introduction to long term care for anyone considering working as a care giver or as a nurse aide. Adara Living is looking for a full time Hospitality Aide to join the nursing team and help enhance resident care and overall unit efficiency. This role focuses on hospitality, environmental support, and basic resident comfort tasks, allowing CNAs and nurses to prioritize direct clinical care. The Hospitality Aide plays a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for the residents at Adara Living.
Key Responsibilities:
- This is a non-clinical position. The Hospitality Aide does not provide hands on personal care (bathing, toileting, transfers) or perform clinical tasks.
- Assist with dining support: pass beverages and meal trays, take residents meal orders, assist in transporting residents to and from dining room
- Visits resident rooms, offering snacks, fresh ice water
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Stock linens and supplies in resident care areas
- Keep nourishment stations and utility rooms clean and stocked
- Assist in answering call lights, responding to non-clinical resident requests (water, blankets, snacks, etc.)
- Provide friendly, courteous interaction & engagement with residents and families
- Assist with room setup and maintain a tidy, comfortable environment
- Work collaboratively with CNAs and nursing staff to anticipate unit & resident needs
- Communicate supply shortages or concerns to leadership
No experience needed! We will train the right candidate.
Job Type: FT - 12-hour shifts (3 -4 days / week)
