What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) position at Broome Oncology?

Responsibilities:
- Administer Chemotherapy/Biotherapy and supportive care, training provided
- Perform patient assessment and provide symptom management
- Communicate with collaborating physicians and nurse practitioners regarding patient care
- Provide emotional support and educate patients/family about symptom management and disease
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
Qualifications:
- NYS registered nursing license
- Solid IV skills and knowledge of central lines
- Inpatient hospital nursing experience, 1 year minimum
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33.00 - $41.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
