What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Broome Family Nurse Practitioners, PC?
Looking for a hard-working, reliable,dedicated team member to join our team at our busy dermatology practice.
Position is full-time. Preferred candidates having previously worked in a medical/dermatology office with experience with Medent EMR software preferred.
Some job duties include:
- Room patients
- Review health/medical history with patient
- Scribe visit encounters with the provider
- Assist with dermatology procedures such as excisions and biopsies, make surgical trays, and sterilize/clean instruments
- Prior Authorizations
Requirements:
- Excellent patient service, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Reliable
The applicant must possess excellent communication skills, be friendly, reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. Dermatology experience would be a plus. We offer health care benefits, Simple IRA retirement plan, paid time off, and employee discounts on products and services.
