The ideal candidate has a passion for fitness, excellent communication skills and a friendly and welcoming demeanor. This position is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the wellness center, ensuring a safe environment for members and providing excellent customer service. As a Wellness Center Team Member, you will provide support to our members at both the Binghamton and Johnson City locations.
Job duties include:
· Great members upon arrival and provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
· Engage, motivate and inspire our members to achieve their fitness goals
· Provide guidance and support to members during workouts, ensuring proper form and technique
· Provide fitness equipment instruction to members
· Enforce wellness center policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment
Opportunities for career development:
· Opportunities for teaching group exercise classes on land or in the pool
· In house training provided
Shift:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings
6:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Wednesday evening 5:00pm-9:00pm
Salary:
$17.00 per hour

Requirements
· Previous experience in a wellness or fitness center preferred
· Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with our members
· Strong knowledge of fitness principles, techniques and equipment
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
