The Wellness Director is responsible for overseeing our fitness centers, coordinating group exercise classes and community health programs, and supervision over the wellness team. This role requires developing and implementing programs and strategies that promote the health and well-being of our community. This role also requires strong leadership skills and a passion for health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement wellness programs that address the physical health of our members
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes
- Provide training and support to members, staff and volunteers involved in wellness activities
- Organize programs and events focused on health and wellness promotion
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in health and wellness promotion
Salary:
$46,000-50,000 per year

Requirements
-Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a Health and Wellness related field preferred
-Proven experience in wellness program development and management
-Strong leadership and organizational skills
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals
-Knowledge of health and wellness trends, policies, and best practices
