As an Activities Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by creating meaningful experiences and activities that promote socialization, engagement, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning, organizing, and implementing activities for residents, such as arts and crafts, exercise classes, and social events
- Develop and maintain a knowledge of residents' interests, abilities, and needs to create tailored activity programs
- Engage with residents one-on-one and in group settings to promote socialization and foster a sense of community
- Collaborate with the Activities Director to ensure a smooth and successful activity program
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity schedules
- Perform other related duties as needed to support the Activities department
