What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Brookwood Farms?
We are looking to add a General Laborer to our team! The start time is 7a but end times can vary. The hours can range from 40-55 hours per week. Medical, dental, and vision insurance are offered. 401k match.
Immediate need is in our Pits department but employee may be required to work in any other department.
Job Description:
- Unload cooked meat from pits onto racks.
- Push racks with meat into the deboning area
- In the deboning area, unload meat from racks
- Spray pits using water and approved cleaning chemicals.
- Alternate between loading/unloading meat and pit cleaning as space becomes available.
- Repeat the process until all meat is fully processed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.50 per hour
