Job Title: Housekeeping Associate
Hours: Monday - Friday 9 am - 2/3 pm
About This Role
This role exists to ensure that Brookwood Church facilities are clean, organized, and ready for daily ministry activities to occur. You are key to creating a positive first impression.
In this position, you will maintain common areas, restrooms, and meeting spaces to create a welcoming environment for groups meeting throughout the day. Your work will directly impact staff, volunteers, and guests by ensuring spaces are clean and ready for use.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, and meeting spaces
- Prepare rooms and environments for scheduled morning and afternoon groups
- Monitor facility conditions and address housekeeping needs proactively
- Ensure housekeeping supplies are organized and easily accessible by other staff and volunteers
- Support the needs of ministries and groups on-site
- Communicate facilities issues and supply needs to the Facilities Manager
- Improve cleanliness standards and consistency across spaces
- Partner with Facilities team members and other ministries as needed

- Spaces are consistently clean, stocked, and ready for ministry activities
- Restrooms and common areas and maintained throughout the day
- Staff, guests, and groups experience a welcoming and well-prepared environment
- Maintaining and improving current cleanliness practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork with facilities team members and other staff and guests

What You Bring
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or facility support experience preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in task completion
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment & Expectations
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-1pm; occasional evenings or weekends to support events and ministry needs
- Work Setting: On-site
- Pace: Steady, with peaks tied to group schedules and building usage
- Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, lifting, and cleaning tasks
