Mon-Fri 8a-3:30p plus an additional 5 hrs. of aftercare each week
Our program is licensed, approved and regulated by both the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and the New York State Board of Education. The program is guided by New York State Learning Standards and follows an educational and play-based, language-enriched curriculum
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED and related experience required
- Must have 12 college credits in Early Childhood and a CDA, or an AS degree
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- State Central Registry, Criminal background check (CBC) clearance & Fingerprint Clearance required.
- Within 6 months of hire obtain NYS Teacher Assistant Certification
Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Oversee developmental activities in assigned daycare classroom and manage the classroom environment. Oversee assigned assistant group leaders; communicate appropriately and in a timely manner with families of assigned children.
