Role Description
This is a full-time position based in Columbus, GA, for an Upper School Science teacher. Preference given to candidates who can teach Biology and/or Chemistry as well as experience with teaching AP courses.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of subject areas such as biology, chemistry, physics, and general sciences
- Experience with lesson planning, curriculum development, and innovative teaching strategies
- Ability to engage students in interactive and hands-on learning activities
- Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a respectful and inclusive learning environment
- Proficiency with educational technology and digital tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Experience teaching science at the upper school level preferred
