Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and private residences, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Care for floors using appropriate methods such as sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing to keep surfaces spotless and safe.
- Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure all areas are fully equipped for guest needs.
- Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning when handling larger-scale or specialized cleaning tasks in commercial or hospitality settings.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion when interacting with guests or residents to ensure their comfort and privacy.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines by properly handling cleaning chemicals and using equipment safely.
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventory control, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with cleanliness standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hospitality settings such as hotels or resorts.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Previous custodial or industrial cleaning experience demonstrating attention to detail and efficiency.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest service excellence.
- Experience managing housekeeping operations or supervising staff is a plus but not required.
