Field Technician

If you're someone who prefers being out in the field instead of behind a desk, this opportunity was built for you. This role is ideal for self-motivated individuals who enjoy working independently, traveling, and tackling hands-on work with minimal supervision. You'll spend the majority of your time in the field collecting and documenting utility pole data.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct field inspections and data collection on utility poles throughout Kentucky.
• Identify and document communication attachments and utility infrastructure accurately.
• Navigate assigned routes independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Utilize maps and project documentation to support field activities and route planning.
• Operate a company vehicle and travel to project locations across the state.
• Complete limited office-based mapping and administrative work as needed.
• Work independently in the field while communicating progress to supervisors and project leadership.

What You Bring:

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Kentucky.
• Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document field observations.
• Experience in landscaping, warehousing, construction, utility services, telecommunications, or other hands-on field environments preferred.
• Reliable work ethic, self-motivation, and strong time management skills.
• Ability to stay overnight near project locations when assignments require extended travel.
