Commissioning Technician

Scope of Position
The Commissioning Technician documents and verifies field conditions and updates the status of the project. They are to be in the field and verify installations, field testing by the subcontractors, drive issues closure, and assist the Assistant Project Mangers the field work is tracking to the needs of the client.
Job Responsibilities
- Assists the Assistant Project Mangers with field coordination to ensure expedited delivery of project needs.
- Escalation point to the subcontractors for items that can gate project delivery.
- Verifies the installation and testing performed by the subcontractors for accuracy.
- Assists the Commissioning team with deliverables they are assigned.
- Escalates, tracks, and verifies issues are resolved and updates the Commissioning software is updates by the subcontractors.
- Assists the verification of the commissioning software has the correct documents, testing, and is completed for project delivery.
- Maintains three training portfolio to ensure they are compliant with the company and industry standards to preform work.
- Key field contact for needed project deliverables.
- Travel as required.
- Other duties which may be assigned as needed.
Education & Years of Experience
- Associates degree in any technical field
- 5 years of experience in operations or commissioning preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
- General knowledge of the commissioning processes and procedures for MEP.
- Understanding of different types of HVAC equipment and functionality
- Ability to self-manage time and travel
- Ability to review drawings and verify systems are installed per design requirements
- Excellent organizational, communications and analytical skills.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to problem solve buy finding resources to obtain information required to complete task.

Salary : $45 - $65
