Overview
The App Developer III is a senior full-stack .NET engineer responsible for leading development efforts, modernizing applications, and ensuring high-quality delivery across an organization’s internal and customer-facing systems. This role combines hands-on coding with technical leadership, enabling the successful design, development, and optimization of .NET applications. The individual will mentor other developers, uphold coding standards, and participate in architecture and solution design for new initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-stack .NET development for enterprise applications and services
- Upgrade, refactor, and modernize existing .NET applications and websites
- Write scalable, testable code for .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, and SQL Server
- Participate in solution design, requirements gathering, and technical planning
- Mentor and support junior/mid-level developers; serve as escalation point for technical issues
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug complex application or performance issues
- Bridge communication across onsite and remote development teams
- Assist in designing technical specifications and documentation
- Support production environments as needed
- Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and cross-functional stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in full-stack .NET development
- Strong hands-on skills in:
- .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC
- REST and/or SOAP API development
- SQL Server
- Front-end frameworks: Angular or Blazor
- JavaScript, CSS
- Experience upgrading and modernizing legacy .NET applications
- Strong debugging and performance troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Prior experience leading development teams or mentoring developers
- Strong understanding of design patterns and modern architecture practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with any of the following: RabbitMQ, Redis, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Graph databases
- Cloud design or AWS exposure
- Familiarity with Power BI, Jira, or GitHub Copilot
- Experience creating wireframes, storyboards, or mockups
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
