Dietary Aide

Pay: $15.00–$16.00 per hour based on experience

Brookside Rehab & Nursing Center is looking for a dependable and caring Dietary Aide to join our team! If you enjoy working with people and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, we would love to have you on our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals to residents
• Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals
• Deliver meals and trays to residents as needed
• Assist with serving meals according to resident diets and preferences
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Keep the kitchen, dining areas, and workspaces clean and organized
• Assist with stocking food and supplies
• Work closely with the Dietary Manager, Cook, and dietary team
• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents
• Follow all facility policies and food service guidelines
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred
• Long-term care experience is a plus
• Ability to follow instructions and dietary requirements
• Reliable and dependable
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to interact professionally and compassionately with residents
