Overview
We are seeking a motivated Fertilizer Applicator Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying fertilizers, pesticides, and other lawn treatments to ensure healthy, vibrant lawns for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize various tools and machinery, and contribute directly to the beauty and health of residential and commercial landscapes.
Duties
- Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and sprayers to apply fertilizers, weed control products, and pest management solutions.
- Accurately follow application instructions and safety protocols to ensure effective treatment delivery.
- Inspect lawns for pest issues, disease symptoms, or signs of nutrient deficiencies to recommend appropriate treatments.
- Maintain equipment by cleaning, calibrating, and performing routine inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Drive company vehicles safely between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards.
- Keep detailed records of treatments applied, areas serviced, and any observations or client requests.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of lawn care practices including fertilization, pest control, and landscaping techniques.
- Excellent driving skills with a valid license; experience operating company vehicles preferred.
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a high standard of safety.
