Fertilization Technician -YEAR-ROUND-BENEFITS-ELYRIA

Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks including fertilizer, pesticides, and herbicides to client lawns using standard industry application equipment.
• Completes turf-care related tasks including lawn aeration and overseeding.
• Calculates proper application rate and mixes chemicals accordingly.
• Prepares and submits daily reports of chemical applications.
• Administers correct handling, transporting, storage and disposal procedures for chemicals.
• Monitors lawn health care needs.
• Reports to work on time each day, identifies and suggests job improvements, and strives for quality.
• Collaborate with team members to complete task efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs to ensure optimal functionality.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high-quality standards in all tasks performed.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in varying weather conditions is required.
• A valid driver's license may be necessary for transporting equipment between job sites.
