Position: Kindergarten Teaching Assistant
Location: Brookside Elementary School
Schedule:2026-2027 School Year
Salary: Per Contract
To Start: August 24, 2026
Qualifications:
●Teacher Certification Prek-3 or similar certification preferred
●Experience working with kindergarten students
●Experience working with English Language Learners and Special Education Students
●Whole classroom setting experience preferred
●Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred
●Proof of proficiency in the Target language, as aligned to DESE Guidance for the Provision of Interpreters in the Education Setting (p.8), required within the first year of employment.
Responsibilities:
●Strong organizational skills required;
●Willing to work outdoors in all types of weather;
●Capacity to adjust and respond to new conditions and circumstances;
●Work collaboratively with others in the classroom;
●Participate in training opportunities as directed by the classroom teacher;
●Perform all duties and responsibilities related to a Kindergarten Classroom.
●Assist kindergarten students with daily living/self-help skills.
●Other duties as assigned by administration.
