Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Atascadero, CA, for a Middle School/High School Science Teacher. The primary responsibilities include creating and implementing comprehensive lesson plans, engaging students in subjects such as Biology and Chemistry, and designing curriculum that aligns with educational standards. The role involves fostering a stimulating classroom environment, assessing student progress through assignments and exams, and maintaining open communication with students, parents, and staff to support educational and spiritual outcomes.

Qualifications

• Expertise in subjects such as Biology and Chemistry with a strong foundation in effectively teaching science concepts to middle and high school students.
• Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development to create structured and engaging educational content.
• Strong Communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues and foster a collaborative learning environment.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop a passion for science and critical thinking.
• Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in Education, Science, or related field preferred
• Prior teaching experience at the middle school or high school level is a plus.
• Ability to model Christ-like behavior in and out of the classroom
