Job Description
The Employee Health Nurse Plans, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates comprehensive employee health and wellness services for all hospital personnel. This role ensures compliance with OSHA, CDC, DOH, and accreditation standards while promoting a safe, healthy, and productive workforce. The Employee Health Nurse collaborates closely with the Medical Director to maintain current and compliant documentation of any protocols or standing orders required to support employee health operations, ensuring all clinical procedures and testing meet regulatory and professional standards.
In addition to primary Employee Health responsibilities, the nurse supports hospital operations by serving as the House Nursing Supervisor a minimum of one day per week, providing leadership, clinical oversight, and operational coordination across departments to promote safe, effective, and efficient patient care.
Education And Credentials
LPN from an accredited school of nursing required. RN from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of nursing practice required. Minimum of 5 years of nursing practice with occupational health nursing preferred.
