Job Description

Under the direct oversight of the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services, applies professional knowledge and skill to provide accountable oversight and coordination of services, procedures, and projects in the area of Echocardiography Service.

Education And Credentials

Certification in Pediatric and Adult Echocardiography, Credentialed by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography {ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Thirty {30) hours of Echocardiography related continuing education must be obtained every three (3) years, participates in hospital required, unit specific, and professional development training and education as assigned and required. Current certification in Cardiac Sonography Adult and Pediatric required.

Experience

Two years of providing echocardiography service from a hospital environment; current BLS Certification required.
