Accounts Payable Specialist (3443)

Job Responsibilities:

• Review check requests, etc. for proper authorization and completion.
• Ensure check requests are assigned to the proper GL period.
• Monitor purchase orders.
• Reconcile vendor statements to supporting documentation.
• Enter data into A/P system.
• Maintain 1099 records.
• Address vendor and employee inquiries regarding checks.
• Maintain records and A/P system for recurring check processing.
• Print checks.
• Make check copies.
• Match checks with supporting documentation for proper distribution and record keeping.
• Review batches and check registers for accuracy (miss-keyed, coded, posted).
• Maintain accurate files for copies/supporting documentation and check registers.
• Maintain signature card file
• Help with other special projects as requested.
• Maintain W-9 records

Job Qualifications:

• HS Diploma
• Maintains confidentiality of payroll information.
• Adheres to policies and procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment; identifies and reports hazards.
• Meets all requirements for mandatory in-services.
• Adheres to policies regarding attendance, conduct, grooming, and dress code.
• Promotes a positive image of the hospital to outside agencies and the public.
• Participates in performance improvement activities as needed.
• Exhibits excellent service to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers.
• Shows courtesy, compassion and respect.
• Exhibits values of the organization.

Hours: Hybrid Monday – Friday 8-5
