What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Representative, Bartram Inpatient Hospital, Part-time Weekends position at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital?
Hours: Part-time weekends, Saturday and Sunday, 12pm - 8pm
- Distributes pre-admission forms to each department.
- Signs in patient upon arrival.
- Obtains copies of patient’s insurance information.
- Verifies all patient data and corrects as needed.
- Calls secondary insurance companies for pre-certifications.
- Creates and files business office/admission charts.
- Responsible for the production and distribution of patient education manuals.
- Verifies compliance with regulatory standards.
- May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school graduate with Business curriculum.
- Two to three years secretarial/office experience.
- Must be a team player and have personality skills.
Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 12pm - 8pm
