Duties
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of heavy construction and small engine equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Conduct repairs on excavators, forklifts, tractors, trailers, and other vehicles or equipment.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs to track equipment history.
- Operate heavy equipment safely during testing or troubleshooting procedures to verify repairs or adjustments.
- Assist with equipment assembly or installation projects.
Skills
- Construction equipment or small engine maintenance background with various machinery.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar or similar equipment standards.
- Expertise using welding or soldering techniques.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly with team members.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; experience with diesel engines is a plus.
- Experience in the construction field is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 60.0 per week
