Role Description
The Airfield Electrician position is a full-time, on-site role located in Charlotte, NC. The role involves performing installations, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems specifically relating to airfield lighting and navigation systems. Responsibilities include the correct and accurate installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and collaborating with project teams to deliver efficient and high-quality work on time and on budget. The Airfield Electrician is expected to maintain a strong focus on safety, reliability, and best practices in electrical engineering within the airfield infrastructure domain.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electricity, Electrical Work, and Electrical Engineering
- Hands-on experience in Maintenance & Repair of electrical systems
- Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues with effective Troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of airfield lighting and navigation systems is highly desirable
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in electrical work are preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively
- Prior experience in high-voltage or infrastructure-related electrical projects is a plus
- Flexibility to work in diverse environments and adapt to project needs
