BROOKLYN NETS Digital Content Producer/Editor

The Digital Content Producer/Editor will support all BSE Global content efforts through the development of forward-thinking video projects and production. The position will be responsible for helping elevate the visual manifestation of and storytelling around our brands including the Brooklyn Nets, Barclays Center, New York Liberty, Nets GC, and Long Island Nets. Content crafted will be distributed across mediums including social media, web, email, app, in-venue, and broadcast.

The Producer/Editor will implement visually outstanding, engaging content, suited for a quick turnaround. The role will support projects for internal lines of business including Marketing, Ticketing, Partnerships, Premium Hospitality, Community, PR, and Diversity & Inclusion. The individual will be encouraged to demonstrate strong shooting & editing capabilities and showcase a portfolio of their prior work.

• Build highly impactful content that evokes emotion and engages with our audiences
• Conceptualize, shoot, and edit deliverables for social media and website distribution
• Craft branded content campaigns and lead all aspects of production for BSE Global Marketing Partners
• Edit long-form storytelling pieces and support post-production on various priority projects
• Build content for native use in-arena as part of our Game Presentation run of the show
• Develop new insights and pitch imaginative solutions for potential production
• Accurately proof all finalized the content and complete edits/revisions as appropriate
• Collaborate with the Head of Content and Director of Video Production around process, workflows, project prioritization, stakeholder communication, and revisions
• Utilize platforms such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects & Media Encoder products to develop video content for a variety of use cases
• Liaise with the Digital/Social teams around content distribution and logistics, and with the Creative team on graphic/design integration within the content
• Support the production process with internal stakeholders across the organization
• Stay at the pulse of industry trends and emerging opportunities, draw inspiration for the department, and stimulate innovation

• 3 years experience working expertly in video production
• Strong understanding of the Sports, Media & Entertainment landscape required
• Experience developing content specifically for social media channels
• Expertise in branded content creation and collaborating closely with sales organizations is beneficial
• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to both conceptualize and implement
• Work experience shooting/producing content with talent integration is preferred
• Proven track record of excelling in a fast-paced environment, servicing multiple collaborators
• Capability to work both collaboratively and independently, while remaining accountable & delivering projects on deadline
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including clearly communicating concepts
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder)
• Ability to shoot and edit high-quality photography, a significant plus
• Capacity to build clean, organized project files that are easily digestible to other producers
• College degree, preferably in TV/Film Production or Media Communications, preferred

May be required to travel on occasions; trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.

Works primarily in an office environment but upon request will be expected to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
