We are a family business looking for friendly, reliable team members to join our pizzeria and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities include greeting and serving guests, taking orders, preparing food and drinks, maintaining a clean and organized front of house, and delivering pizzas as needed. Applicants should have strong communication skills, basic math and food safety knowledge, the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds, and a flexible schedule. A valid driver's license and clean driving record (if delivering pizzas) and previous experience in food service or customer service is a plus. Team members should be able to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle customer complaints and concerns effectively.

Responsibilities

• Treat all guests in a friendly and courteous manner, as if they were an old friend.
• Work with all team members together & hold high standards of customer service and work to create a positive and enjoyable dining experience for all guests.
• Make sure all of the food being served is made to the highest quality and meets BKP standards, so that it tastes good and meets the expectations of the customers.
• Keep the restaurant well-stocked/prepared with all of the supplies/ingredients it needs, such as food, drinks, and tools and equipment for cooking and serving.
• If customers have any concerns/issues, respond in a way that is both helpful and friendly, so that the customer is satisfied and the restaurant maintains a good reputation.
• Keep the restaurant high-quality and well-maintained, including general regular maintenance tasks, or by presenting good ideas to management.
• Take orders from customers and enter them into a computer system, making sure to be accurate and thorough in order to avoid mistakes or misunderstandings.
• Deliver orders to the homes or businesses of customers, making sure to follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Keep restaurant's dining area clean and well-maintained, including tasks such as wiping down tables, sweeping and mopping the floors, and wiping down windows and walls.

Skills/Requirements

• Required to be kept valid through duration of employment:
• 1. Valid Driver's License
• 2. Registered Vehicle
• 3. Vehicle & Driver listed on current and future Car Insurance, liability coverage at minimum
• 4. Food Handlers Certification for Named Employee in State of Employment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with guests
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions from management
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and food preparation
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints and concerns effectively
• Use personal vehicle when required to deliver orders to the homes or businesses of customers, making sure to follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.

• Average combined rate per hour for full time employees = ~$13.00-15.00/hr
