Bakery Sales Associate

As a Bakery Sales Associate, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional customer service by assisting guests with their purchases and answering any questions about our products.
• Operating the POS system (familiarity with systems like Square is a plus!).
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including the display of baked goods.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety standards (Food Protection Certificate required by NYC).
• Restocking shelves and inventory as needed.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.

We’re seeking someone who brings both skills and enthusiasm to the table. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• At least 1 year of experience in retail or food service (preferred).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to create a positive experience for every customer.
• A valid Food Protection Certificate (required by NYC).
• The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Square (preferred).
• A proactive and team-oriented attitude to keep things running smoothly.
