What are the responsibilities and job description for the EFT Specialist position at Brooklyn Cooperative Federal Credit Union?
The EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) Specialist will support Brooklyn Coop by ensuring our customers' financial transactions are accurate and transparent. The best person for this position will be diligent, reliable, detail-oriented and friendly; a team member willing to support the organization as outlined below and in ways that will evolve over time.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensure daily ACH transfers, incoming and outgoing wires, electronic items, and other EFT transactions are processed accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act /Anti-Money Laundering regulations, including transaction monitoring, CTR and SAR filing
- Comprehend and comply with established internal policies
- Demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills in spotting and investigating suspicious wire or other payment activity to reduce risk for the credit union and to safeguard customer funds.
- Responds to emails and phone inquiries.
- Complete other projects assigned by managers in a timely fashion.
