Responsibilities
- Support food preparation by chopping, assembling, and cooking ingredients according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices to ensure safety.
- Assist with food service during busy periods, including plating dishes and supporting banquet events when needed.
- Follow all food safety regulations and health guidelines to provide a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and deliver excellent guest service.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory—training will be provided!
- Familiarity with food handling, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices is a plus.
- Experience with POS systems like Aloha or Micros can be advantageous but is not required.
- Banquet or hotel experience can be beneficial for supporting large events and guest services.
