Brooklyn Black & White is a NYC-inspired mini cookie company launching at Brooklyn Flea DUMBO. We're looking for an experienced baker to join our small production team.
What you'll do:
- Bake mini black and white cookies from established recipes
- Hand-ice and finish cookies to spec
- Package finished product for market sale
- Work alongside our founder in a shared commercial kitchen (Cook Collective)
What we're looking for:
- Real hands-on baking experience, comfortable working efficiently at volume
- Comfortable operating commercial kitchen equipment (mixers, commercial ovens, etc.) — this role requires independent equipment use, not on-the-job training
- Icing/glazing/finishing experience a strong plus
- Reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable in a small fast-paced team
- Available Thursdays and Fridays, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM, ongoing
- Able to start within 2 weeks
