What are the responsibilities and job description for the BEEP Summer Enrichment Teacher position at Brookline Early Education Program?
BEEP seeks highly qualified teachers to lead a summer enrichment program for prekindergarten students. BEEP Summer Enrichment offers STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) learning adventures, water and outside games, music, dramatic play, construction & fine motor activities as well as special events.
Skills required include:
Ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate integrated a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) curriculum program for 3-5-year-olds
Understanding of math continuum from Pre K-kindergarten
Understanding of literacy continuum from Pre K-K
Ability to balance developmental needs with content learning
Ability to build a cohesive classroom community
Ability to understand and plan for diverse learning styles
Plan implementation of quality home school connections
Plan and implement family newsletters
Ability to train and manage a team
Qualifications:
College degree
Mass DESE licensure, PreK
Understanding of learning styles, experience with inclusion classrooms
Excellent classroom management
Technology skills
Minimum of 1-4 years of classroom teaching experience
Program Dates: 7/6/2026 to 7/31/2026
Program Locations: Driscoll School
Program Hours: 8 am to 1 pm; Monday to Friday
Daily Working Hours: 7:45am to 1:30pm
Orientation & Setup: Up to 7 hours
Cleanup: Up to 6 hours
