We are seeking a skilled, hands-on Apartment Renovation & Maintenance Technician for our large apartment complex. This role focuses heavily on unit turns, upgrades, and high-quality interior remodeling.Job Details

Core Responsibilities
- Unit Remodeling: Perform full kitchen and bathroom upgrades between tenant leases.
- Cabinetry & Counters: Install new kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, and countertops.
- Flooring Installation: Lay down laminate flooring and secure transitions smoothly.
- Tile Work: Install ceramic tile backsplashes, tub surrounds, and flooring.
- Drywall & Paint: Complete expert spackling, drywall patching, and full-room painting.
- Systems Maintenance: Troubleshoot basic plumbing leaks and swap light fixtures or outlets.
- Turnover Efficiency: Meet strict deadlines to get vacant units market-ready.
Required Skills & Experience
- Expertise: Proven experience installing ceramic tile, kitchen cabinets, countertops, and laminate flooring.
- Finishing: Master-level spackling, sanding, texturing, and clean interior painting.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting skills are highly valued.
- Tools: Must own standard hand and power tools for remodeling tasks.
- License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Experience
- Proven experience in general maintenance, repair, and operations ideally within residential or commercial facilities.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair and routine servicing; familiarity with HVAC schematics is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- electrical experience including wiring, troubleshooting circuits, and repairing electrical equipment is a plus.
- plumbing system maintenance and repair with knowledge of plumbing codes and safety standards is a plus.
