Job Summary
Brooklawn Country Club is seeking a dependable and professional Front Gate & Security Attendant to help provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our members, guests, employees, and property.
This position combines security, member service, and responsibility for securing the Club at the end of the evening. The ideal candidate is professional, observant, trustworthy, and comfortable working independently during late-night hours.
What You'll Do
- Greet members, guests, employees, vendors, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Monitor and control access to Club property
- Verify guest and vendor access and monitor vehicle traffic
- Conduct routine security patrols of the clubhouse, grounds, parking areas, and other Club facilities
- Perform final closing rounds and ensure the Club is fully secured at the end of the night
- Check and lock designated doors, gates, buildings, and other access points
- Confirm designated areas have been cleared, lights are turned off, and alarms are properly activated
- Identify and report unlocked doors, suspicious activity, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or other issues
- Respond appropriately to security concerns or incidents and contact Club management or emergency personnel when necessary
- Maintain discretion and professionalism when interacting with members and guests
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior security, public safety, military, hospitality, or similar experience preferred
- Guard Card preferred
- Strong judgment, situational awareness, and attention to detail
- Professional and service-oriented demeanor appropriate for a private country club
- Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for securing the property
- Ability to remain calm and professional in unexpected or difficult situations
- Ability to walk the property and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be available 2–3 days per week, including some weekends and late-night shifts
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
