Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills through play and structured activities. The Infant Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curricula and fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Schedule: 12pm-6pm
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive activities.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom setting that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents as needed.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is highly preferred.
- Background in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support diverse learning needs.
- First aid certification is beneficial but not required upon hiring; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff members.
- A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their development.
