Kitchen Crew Member
Join the family at Brookland Eats! We’re looking for an experienced, dependable Crew Member to join our crew. Morning shifts are focused around heavily on prepping, cleaning, and getting through the lunch shift. We need someone who can move with purpose, stay organized, and knows how to hustle when things get busy. We’re a fast paced kitchen, and some shifts can get hectic, so being able to stay calm, communicate well, and work efficiently under pressure is a must.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous kitchen/restaurant experience
- Morning availability preferred
- Comfortable with prep work and repetitive kitchen tasks
- Fast, energetic, and able to keep up with a busy kitchen
- Someone who can take direction and initiative
- Able to stay focused and productive when things get hectic
- Reliable and shows up ready to work
- Team oriented with a good attitude
- Clean hygiene is a must
This is a hands on position. There's always something to do, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in keeping the kitchen moving. We welcome creative new specials, and/or menu items, for creative minds. If you work well under pressure, like staying busy, and know how to get the job done, you’ll fit in well here.
Crew Duties:
- Assist in food preparation tasks including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients according to recipes.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to ensure a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling techniques to maintain quality and safety.
- Participate in high-volume production to meet the demands of busy service periods while maintaining consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts.
Pay: From $11.00 per hour
